Mi Isla en Sueños

Aimed at the whole family and children ages five and up, My Island in Dreams offers a theatrical experience of high aesthetic and emotional value. The production celebrates Puerto Rican identity and invites the audience to listen to their inner voice, trust their intuition, and pursue their dreams. What makes this story unique is that it speaks of a collective dream, one that all Puerto Ricans share. In a challenging social context, the play is presented as an artistic stimulus that promotes hope, collective work, and the building of a more just and supportive country.

The piece tells the story of a child who, accompanied by his protector, the morning star, embarks on a symbolic journey to recover his ability to dream. Along with many others, he shares the dream of a revitalized island, free from all evil, full of flowers, peace, and joy, beginning to consciously build the reality they desire.

The play was presented, along with the San Juan Children's Choir and young people from Casa Kai, in April 2026 at the Francisco Arriví Theater, as part of the 63rd Puerto Rican Theater Festival of the Institute of Culture.
